This view of the seeder shows the white Anti-Static coating on the top plate.  This same coating is on bottom plate and is quarter inch thick acrylic.  With white anti-static coating impregnated into the surface of both plates by a chemical to assure many years of worry free service and eliminate all static related problems.  The small handle on each end of the seeder is what slides the center plates the 1/4 inch necessary from fills to drop position.  No double seeding, a seeding drop rate of 98 - 100%.  Frames are made from #1 Kiln-dried material with no splitting or twists.  Also keeps weight and costs down.  The seeder sets down over a tray 3/4 inch with a 1/8-inch clearance around the trays.  The rail around the top of the seeder allows the operator to pour as many seeds as needed on top plate, moving around freely to enter into pre-punched openings in top plate each holding numerous seeds, when the center is moved to fill position allowing one seed to enter each tiny opening in the center plate (each accommodates one seed only), then to drop position, seeds drop in tray.  Also rail around top plate supports the transparent covers that keep out dirt and debris and keep condensation from dripping into seeds from greenhouse. The easiest, most reliable, cost efficient seeder manufactured.

Above shows one tray at a time, some farmers stack up 4 or 5 trays that are dibbled and ready.  Set the seeder on top tray, seed it and pick up seeder and tray at the same time with the ends of your finger tips.  Turn and set the seeder and tray down, pick up the seeder, and position on next tray.

ABC Quick Seeder ®  with the hands free attachment clamped to table.  A lot of times customers buy these to replace where their  old vacuum type was attached allowing to use their dibble board and dirt box.  Others set up their own system of operation.  The clips that hold the seeder are metal and easily removed, no screws, for operation by hand.  The hands free attachment can be adjusted to a desired height between tray and seeder.  All that is needed is to press seeder down on tray, slide center plate to drop position, seeds drop in tray.  The center plate is made of the same material that is used for TV and computer circuit boards, this does not generate any static build up. 

Using the hands free attachment with the dibble board makes a faster and easier operation.  The location of the handles allow the operator to feel the end of the tray for quicker alignment.  The material used is 3/4 inch #1 cabinet material that is treated against moisture.  The dibbles are made 5/8" round wooden knobs and held in place by screws so as not to come out later.

This is an easy way,  slide tray under the Dirt Box, next under dibble board, then under the seeder.  This is how you can seed 350 per. hr.  The 4 springs that hold the seeder and dibble board are soft and easy to press down.  They have vinyl sleeves around the springs to keep the seeder and dibble board from bouncing when released.  All that's needed is to set seeder on tray, trip it, turn loose and slide tray out of the way then reach for another tray.

Saves time and labor.  For example, if you were seeding with a vacuum seeder, you need someone on the other side to line up trays, someone to pick out extra seeds, a vacuum cleaner running, rolling seeds around, flip seeder over to seed, water dripping down on seeds from greenhouse, dirt clogging up seeder, dealing with static problems, baby powder and all sorts of other problems.  All those problems have been solved.  You will never know how easy a job seeding can be until you have seeded with the ABC QUICK SEEDER®.
